Exercise Therapy

Fit For Life Rehab and Fitness Clinic provides a caring, upbeat environment where your individual needs are our priority for your sub-acute injuries or areas with discomfort.   You are guaranteed a private session each time you come for your exercise therapy. Your clinician will be with only you during each of your sessions.  We have individual, fully equipped treatment rooms so that there is no distraction from other client sessions.  With undivided attention, your clinician immediately assesses your movement to assure your form is correct as you execute your medically based exercise protocols. Exercises done with correct alignment and muscle involvement lead to more rapid healing and recovery. A physician’s prescription is not needed for this program. However, we follow all guidelines and recommended limitations set by your physician.

We believe in continuing to work with each client until they have regained the strength and stability to perform daily living activities and withstand the physical demands at their workplace or in their sport without discomfort.

We develop and monitor a home exercise program (HEP) for each client.  You will be taught how to safely progress your HEP to continue to increase strength and stability. After you’ve been discharged from exercise therapy, the HEP helps to maintain the positive physical changes from your time spent with your clinician.  You will also understand what functional exercises to do if you aggravate your issue after discharge from therapy.

Some of our clients have tried various exercise programs and have not seen an end to their discomfort. With our environment, and appropriate protocols and treatments, our clients begin to experience the desired improvement of pain-free living.
