Tip #1: When walking, gently pull in your lower abdominals and lift your rib cage. These simple efforts will improve your posture.
Tip #2: If you get a feeling of mid-afternoon slow down, drink a 12 – 16 oz. glass of water vs. having an unhealthy snack. To feel more energized, it is often hydration that we need more than food . It will also keep your waistline slimmer!
Tip #3: To limit food consumption and feel satisfied with smaller portions, have a large glass of water 5 minutes before each meal.
Tip #4: Walking is a great exercise to tone your lower body, strengthen your hips and lower back muscles, and is good for your circulation. It’s also a great way to find mental relaxation. No equipment is necessary except comfortable, supportive shoes.
Tip #5: Stretching after exercise helps your joints function properly. Call for an appointment to learn the most important stretches. Correct form is important!
